General UK Returns Policy
The 24-Hour Notification Window
All customers have exactly 24 hours from the time their items are delivered (as explicitly confirmed by the courier's tracking information) to contact us regarding any damages, faults, or issues with their purchases. After this 24-hour period expires, we reserve the strict right to reject any returns or exchanges. Photographic evidence may be required to process your request.
Item Condition & Fees: All returns must be returned to us in a completely unused and resalable condition. Please be aware that a 10% restocking fee may be applied to any accepted returns, and original shipping costs are strictly non-refundable.
Bespoke Items: Please note that our Sample Packs and Discovery Sets are strictly non-returnable. These are considered bespoke, made-to-order packs crafted specifically for you upon request.
Order Modifications: You may modify your order by emailing us within 24 hours of the time of purchase, provided that our fulfillment team has not already dispatched the order.
The "Blind Buy" Rule

To ensure a frictionless shopping experience for our European Union customers, Alexandria Fragrances UK handles all customs clearance in the Netherlands and pays the required 21% Dutch Import VAT on your behalf. The price you pay at checkout is the final price.
Your Responsibility to Collect
Once dispatched, it is your sole responsibility to monitor your tracking information regularly. If you are unavailable to receive the delivery, the courier will typically leave your parcel at a local drop-off shop or collection point. You are responsible for collecting your parcel within the timeframe specified by the courier.
Returns Due to Failure to Collect (Breach of Contract)
If you fail to collect your parcel from the designated drop-off location within the courier's timeframe, it will automatically be returned to the UK. This failure to complete the delivery is legally considered a breach of your sales contract.
In this specific scenario, we will process a refund for the returned products, but the following costs incurred by us will be heavily deducted:
- The original shipping cost will not be refunded.
- The 21% Dutch Import VAT that we paid on your behalf is a non-reclaimable fee and will be deducted from your final refund.
This policy is distinct from your statutory right to make a return if you change your mind prior to dispatch.
